The course is divided into two: Glass Fusion and Tiffany Stained Glass.

On the Fusion course, students will learn a variety of techniques such as glass cutting, fusion based on recycling, glass surface design, sizing; all of which concern the shaping of glass in the furnace. During the second course, which is Stained Glass, the aim is to enable students to gain experience in the practice of glass cutting, sanding, foiling, leading and patting processes and consequently to be able to produce a functional piece of work.

In this workshop the participants will watch live presentations concerning hot glass blowing and shaping and during this process, they will be actively involved in all stages of the production process from glass blowing to colouring and free-shaping.

This course focuses on all the production processes carried out by a ceramics atelier. Participants gain new skills and knowledge on modelling, glazing and burning techniques. Participants who are familiar with related techniques will have the opportunity to work at an advanced level.

This course programme which starts with the kneading and preparation of clay covers, with the exception of the subjects of bringing clay to the center on the pottery wheel, its shaping and retouching, the techniques of decoration on the pottery wheel and simple glazing techniques.

The modeling course is centered on the use of clay as a medium. Participants will realise the link between form and material and will be able to create abstract or figurative works in minimal size.

This course concentrates on drawing the human form through the use of different painting materials and techniques. Participants will acquire a variety of new skills and knowledge relating to sight and abstraction.

This Course serves two purposes: • To identify the creative features of students who are preparing for Fine Arts, Design and Communication departments along with their interests, knowledge, and skills. • To give the students advanced training that focuses on presentation techniques and portfolio preparation consisting of works created before and during the course. The aim of this course is also to inform students about 4 year bachelor’s degree education choices in art, design, and communication. Students will receive training that covers all aspects of ARUCAD Scholarship and Placement Examinations for their choices of 4 year BA education. Another benefit of this course is that the course provides the opportunity to practice sketching, photography, video shooting, design, 3D structure, mock-up preparation etc. and enables creating portfolios with such work. During this course, students will also be able to learn how to present their portfolios effectively both.

This course is based on making changes to photos via painting, cutting and pasting and filtration tools on the computer. Participants will acquire new skills and knowledge from a combination of both theory and practice sessions.

The course will cover a range of topics related to the principles of print design and the publishing /publication process. This course provides skill development in one of the fastest growing technology-based industries, graphic design, and pre-press. Students will learn how to use industry-standard software to design and produce high-quality, professional print publications. Perhaps more importantly, students will learn how to visually adapt their communications to audiences using proven principles of design and understandings about how people perceive design.

The aim of this course is to provide an education at the introductory, intermediary and advanced level in graphic design and in the software used in this sector. Students will receive basic education on subjects such as the creation and processing methods of vector graphics and pixel-based (photographic) image; and graphic design principles including colour management, typography, logo, logotype, emblem, poster, cover design. The course offers proper training for students new to the subject, as well as more advanced training for those who already work in the sector and are thus more experienced.

The aim of this course is to provide an education, at introductory and intermediary level, in the professional illustration disciplines that are used in printed and online contexts, and in techniques that are used in this sector. The aim is to teach the students the creative process of the illustration discipline and to introduce them to the profession of illustration through both manual and digital techniques.

This course will focus on basics on 2D animation presenting Adobe Animate as the starter software. Along with that students will learn how to develop an idea, prepare a storyboard and will go through the process of making animation. Participants will practice and experience different techniques like traditional 2D and cutout. They will also acquire some basic skills for animating a character or an object.

On this course, you will learn how to turn your idea into a written screenplay and develop it through pre-production, production and post-production. You will learn about shot lists, blocking, working with actors, cinematography, and editing and by the end of the course, you will have made a short film.

Enhance your creativity, self-expression, writing and communication skills and experiment with a range of genres including poetry, flash fiction, prose, creative non-fiction, and autobiography. No previous creative writing experience is necessary. This course is taught in English and participants must have intermediate or advanced English in order to fully benefit from and participate in the course.
